about ... this train is a leaving demo ...

these songs were recorded in a single session on oct 15th 2007 ... i set out to record about 3 more than i busted a string ... i decided i was done for the day ... thing is so was my digi 002 ... more on that in more about the recording page ...

these are not intended to be finished products ... more or less this is to show that i am not done as a song writer ... i can write in other styles ... and if anything my song writing, and guitar playing have progressed on many levels ... i hope you enjoy ... and thanks for listening ... 1. almost out (expclict lyrics)
2. last
3. this song
4. alriiiiight... (explicit kinda)

the first song “almost out” is my first real poppy sounding song ... i wrote it in about 45 minutes on sunday oct 14th ... i missed a big gig on sunday cause i couldnt get a ride from deland to orlando in order to play it ... to be quite honest this song hits home and hard with where i am as a musician ... guitar player ... and song writer ... never mind the fact that i screwed up the ending ... i felt i got my point across regardless ...

the second song “last” is one of the first songs i wrote for my new cd ... it was written in july and i have been playing it ever since ... this song really shows my progression as a song writer and guitar player ... its a weird tune ... but i do things on guitar i have never heard done on guitar before ... damn thats a hard statement to stand behind ... but there it is ...

the third song “this song” is my first experience dipping my toes into the country style of music ... not the pop crap country thats out today ... but the willie nelson style country (again big shoes to fill) ... it was not intentionally written to be country ... the chord progressions are what puts it in that category ... it too was written in about 45 minutes at 3 in the morning on thurs oct 11th ...

the final song “alriiight...” ... well its pretty self explanatory ... people that know me know what it means for me to be “alriiiight” as that is my catch phrase ... and so i put it to music with a fun catchy tune ... it is one of my most requested songs at shows and people call me after receiving free cds from my show asking where the hell this song is ... well it wasnt recorded till yesterday ... so here it is enjoy ...

thanks for listening ...
