more about ... this is my music...

i recorded this in 519c studios ... which is code for my apartment ... =) i used a single rode ntk tube microphone running into the pre-amp of my digi 002 ...

all songs were played on my taylor k22 (see picture at the top of my page) ... it is an all koa wood small body acoustic guitar that i am overly fortunate to own ...

all songs were recorded in one take (live basically), using only a single track ... no over dubs ... no seperate mics ... evrything with my single rode ntk ... at the same time ...

in mixdown/mastering (cause there was only one track) ... i simply added a tight low cut filter around 66 hz to remove the low end ... i then added a 4-6 band eq ... i then added a musical compressor for a musical compression boost ... i then added an aux track in which i applied a stereo reverb ... i then ran it through a hard limiter compressor to make it within industry standard volumes ... without squeezing the hell out of it (like too many cd's seem to do today) ... the only automation was on the threshold of the hard limiter compressor ...

thats it ... no autotune ... no overdubs ...
